Redhakhol Forest Division MTS (Computer/GIS Analyst) Recruitment 2026

The Office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Redhakhol Forest Division has invited applications for engagement of one Multi-Tasking Staff (Computer/GIS Analyst) on a purely outsourcing basis. The selected candidate will work on geospatial and digital operations including GIS mapping, remote sensing analysis, website and portal management, mobile application data management, and capacity building of staff on digitalisation and AI/LLM tools. This is a unique technology-focused role in the forest department that combines GIS expertise with modern AI and data tools. The engagement is initially for 12 months and may be renewed based on performance.

Who Can Apply?

• Option 1: B.Tech or B.E in Computer Science and Engineering, OR Post Graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from a recognized university.
• Option 2: Graduation or Post Graduation in GIS, Remote Sensing, or Programming from a recognized university.

Desirable skills that will give you an edge:

• GIS and Remote Sensing tools like Google Earth, QGIS, and ARC GIS
• Programming in Python, SQL, and JavaScript
• AI/ML, LLM, and Data tools
• MS Office, Map design and layout skills
• Experience in app and website development (added advantage)
• Knowledge of drones and ability to pilot them (added advantage)

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years as on 01 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/SEBC candidates get 5 years relaxation (can apply up to 40 years).

Salary

• You will receive a fixed salary of Rs. 36,000 per month.
• This is a contract position on outsourcing basis, initially for 12 months.
• The engagement may be renewed for the next year based on satisfactory performance.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for this recruitment. Selection will be done in the following stages:
