RCM Sishu Bhawan Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

RCM Sishu Bhawan, Mandasore is building a mixed care team for its child-care institution at Raikia in Kandhamal district under Mission Vatsalya. The engagement follows the Odisha Women and Child Development Department framework and brings social work, counselling, residential care, education, health support and household services into one recruitment. Every role is tied to the scheme rather than a regular government cadre, so you should consider the nature of the appointment before applying.

Posts and Disciplines

  • Child Welfare Officer or Case Worker: case management, child-rights support, coordination with authorities and record keeping for children in institutional care.
  • Counsellor: individual support, communication with children and families, and counselling inputs for rehabilitation plans.
  • House Father: day-to-day residential supervision, routine building and a safe, supportive home environment.
  • Paramedical Staff or Staff Nurse: first-line health support, medicine records and coordination for medical care.
  • Educator or Tutor: learning support, study schedules and help with school-linked work.
  • Art-cum-Music Therapist: creative sessions using art, music and craft to support expression and wellbeing.
  • PT Instructor or Yoga Trainer: part-time fitness, movement and yoga sessions suited to children.
  • Cook, Helper-cum-Night Watchman and Housekeeper: meals, upkeep, night support and the safe running of the residential facility.

Post-wise Duties

Professional care roles

You will contribute to each child's care plan through case work, counselling, health support or education, depending on your post. Your records and observations will help the institution coordinate with families, schools, medical services and child-protection authorities.

Residential support roles

You will keep the home functioning through daily supervision, food preparation, cleanliness and night-time watch. These roles involve direct contact with children, so reliability and attention to safeguarding are central to the work.

Activity roles

You will plan art, music, physical training or yoga activities that are safe, inclusive and appropriate for different age groups. Sessions should encourage participation while fitting around the children's school and care routines.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Tenure: the initial engagement is for one year and may continue after a performance review; all posts remain time-bound and end with the scheme.
  • Language: you need to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must have studied Odia to the middle-school standard.
  • Character and health: appointment depends on good character, sound health and a declaration that you have not been involved in criminal activity, especially offences involving children.
  • Panel validity: the selection panel remains valid for one year after it is finalised.
  • Regular appointment: this engagement gives you no future claim to a regular post.
  • Current employment: an employer's no-objection certificate is preferred when you are already working elsewhere.

Application Submission Notes

Send the completed prescribed form and self-attested supporting papers as one PDF attachment to rcmsishubhawan123@gmail.com. The institution accepts applications by email only; there is no separate web form.

If you want to be considered for more than one role, send a separate application for each post. You may apply for no more than two posts, and each form must be complete and signed.
