Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is engaging medical specialists for its Health Department in Pune. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Joining: If selected, you must join within seven days of receiving the appointment letter. Otherwise, PMC may offer the appointment to the next person on the relevant waiting list.
• Agreement and deposit: You must complete the prescribed contract at your own expense and pay the service deposit before joining. The notice provides for returning that deposit without interest after you complete the specified service period.
• Leaving early: Give the Health Office one month's written notice if you wish to leave before the contract ends. Leaving without that notice leads to forfeiture of one month's consolidated pay.
• Travel: You must attend the walk-in at your own expense. Plan your visit around the slot assigned to your specialty.
• Recruitment discretion: PMC may change, suspend or cancel the recruitment arrangements. Selection and waiting lists remain valid for three months after administrative approval.
• Accuracy and conduct: False information, concealed facts, misconduct or attempts to exert private or political pressure can lead to disqualification. An appointment can also end without advance notice if these issues come to light later.

Attend in person at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Sabhagruh, old G. B. Hall, Health Office, third floor, PMC Main Building, Shivajinagar, Pune 411005. PMC will not accept applications sent by post.

• Morning slots: Gynecologist, 10:00–11:00 AM; Pediatrician, 11:00 AM–12:00 noon.
• Afternoon slots: Neonatologist, 12:00 noon–1:00 PM; Physician, 1:00–2:00 PM; Intensivist, 2:00–2:30 PM; Dermatologist, 3:00–3:30 PM; Radiologist/Sonologist, 3:30–4:00 PM.
• Form presentation: Complete the prescribed application in your own handwriting. Number the attached pages and state the total number of documents on the original form; late arrivals and later replacement or additional papers will not be accepted.

• Assess patients within the specialty for which you are appointed.
• Plan treatment and follow-up care for patients in municipal health services.
• Handle clinical procedures within your professional training and registration.
• Keep clear clinical notes, findings and treatment records.
• Coordinate referrals and care with other medical specialists.
• Explain treatment plans and follow-up advice to patients and families.
• Follow infection-control practices and the Health Department's duty schedule.
