Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is hiring 66 doctors for its Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital (YCMH) in Pimpri, Pune. Who Can Apply?

Junior Resident

• Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized university
• Registration: Valid Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) registration is mandatory

Medical Officer (CMO / Shift Duty)

• Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized university
• Registration: Valid MMC registration required

Blood Bank Medical Officer (BTO)

• Qualification: MBBS or DCP with FDA approval
• Preferred: MD Pathology candidates get higher honorarium
• Registration: Valid MMC registration required

Note: Reservation of posts follows Maharashtra Government rules as per the Reservation Act 2004 and Government decision dated 06 March 2024.

Age Limit

Salary

• Junior Resident: Fixed consolidated monthly honorarium (as per notification)

• Blood Bank BTO (MBBS): Rs. 75,000/- per month (fixed)
• Blood Bank BTO (MD Pathology): Rs. 80,000/- per month (fixed)
• Note: This is a consolidated honorarium with no additional benefits like DA, HRA, or other allowances

Selection Process

• Handle patient consultations, examinations, and treatment in the assigned department at YCM Hospital
• Assist senior doctors and specialists with medical procedures, surgeries, and emergency care
• Monitor patients in ICU, wards, and emergency rooms and maintain accurate medical records
• Work in shifts covering 24-hour hospital operations including night duties and weekends
• Follow standard medical protocols, infection control guidelines, and hospital SOPs
• Prepare discharge summaries, medical reports, and referral documentation
• Manage postmortem procedures and medico-legal cases (Shift Duty Medical Officers)
• Manage blood bank operations, blood collection, testing, and storage as per FDA norms (BTO)
