NITTTR Bhopal Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Overview
National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research, Bhopal (NITTTR), under the Ministry of Education, is engaging Graduate and Technician Apprentices for training at its Shamla Hills campus. The institute is a deemed-to-be university under the distinct category, and this call covers engineering disciplines alongside general graduate streams. This is apprenticeship training under a training contract, with engagement linked to the seats available during the training cycle.
Posts and Disciplines
- Graduate Apprentice in engineering: The notified engineering fields are Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. These disciplines appear in the institute's training-seat table.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma-level apprenticeship is shown alongside the graduate route in the engineering table. The institute will engage apprentices according to the training seats actually available.
- Graduate Apprentice in general streams: The notice also includes arts, science, commerce, business administration, computer applications and allied streams within its graduate training intake.
- Other relevant disciplines: If suitable applicants are unavailable in a listed discipline, NITTTR may consider other relevant disciplines or general streams. This depends on apprenticeship provisions and seat availability.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Training period: The apprenticeship lasts one year. You join as a trainee under the apprenticeship framework, rather than as a regular employee of the institute.
- Employment after training: Completing the apprenticeship does not give you a right to a regular appointment. NITTTR has no obligation to offer you employment when the training ends.
- Seats during the cycle: Further engagement may become possible if a seat opens because of resignation, discontinuation, non-joining, completion or termination of training. Such engagement depends on a seat becoming available.
- Reservation: The notice applies reservation provisions for SC, ST, OBC Non-Creamy Layer and persons with disabilities under the Apprenticeship Rules and their amendments.
- Conduct and records: Follow the institute's rules, safety requirements and lawful instructions during training. Keep proper records of the work and training you complete.
- Continuation: Continued training and stipend payments depend on satisfactory performance and compliance with your apprenticeship contract. The contract can end under the applicable Act, Rules and contract terms.
- Interview expenses: NITTTR will not provide travel or daily allowance, accommodation or meals for attending the interview. You will need to arrange these yourself.
- Recruitment changes: The institute can change, cancel or postpone the process and adjust the seats or discipline allocation according to availability and directions from the apprenticeship authorities. Canvassing leads to disqualification.
