National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy) Student Part-Time Intern Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts
National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy) has released a notification for 5 Student Part-Time Intern positions under the project "MicroSdetect" — a novel open-source platform for AI-based assessment of critical microstructural features, led by Principal Investigator Dr.-Ing Prince Gideon Kubendran Amos in the Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering. The project is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) and studies how microstructural features affect material properties. Currently enrolled students from four engineering disciplines are needed to support this research work part-time alongside their studies. NIT Tiruchirappalli is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and this project gives engineering students hands-on exposure to real research work while they continue their degree.
