MSU Baroda Law Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU Baroda) is holding a walk-in recruitment drive for temporary academic appointments in its Faculty of Law at Vadodara. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Temporary engagement: these appointments are for the stated academic year. They do not give you a right to permanent status, regularisation or the service benefits of permanent employees.
• University rules: service matters follow the applicable University Grants Commission rules, Gujarat Public Universities Act, university statutes and resolutions, and Gujarat government service rules.
• Deployment: the university may assign you to another programme, department, faculty, college or institute within the university when institutional needs call for it.
• Appointment decisions: attending the walk-in does not assure appointment. The university may leave posts unfilled, withdraw the notice in part or in full, or change the positions through its prescribed procedure.
• Provisional appointment: an offer remains subject to the university's checks. A procedural error discovered later may lead to cancellation of an appointment.
• Conduct: false declarations, hidden information or forged records can lead to disqualification or dismissal even after joining. Canvassing can also remove you from consideration.
• Travel: you must meet your own travel expenses. The university does not reimburse travel or provide a daily allowance for attending the recruitment process.
• Disputes: recruitment disputes fall within the jurisdiction of Vadodara, Gujarat.
