Selection Process

The entire selection is merit-based, which means there is no separate written exam or interview round to worry about. Your CPCT score card is the sole deciding factor. The CPCT assessment covers two areas — Computer Proficiency (which carries the primary weightage) and Hindi and English net typing speed. In case of a tie in Computer Proficiency marks, your typing scores in both Hindi and English will be used as the tie-breaker. Once the merit list is finalised, you will get to fill district preferences through a choice-filling process, followed by document verification.

Preparation Tips

  1. Focus on your CPCT score — since selection is entirely merit-based, a higher CPCT score directly improves your ranking in the merit list
  2. Practice both Hindi and English typing regularly, as typing speed serves as the tie-breaker when two candidates have the same Computer Proficiency marks
  3. Keep all documents ready in advance — especially your CPCT score card, domicile certificate, and caste certificate if applicable — to avoid last-minute hassles during verification

Responsibilities

  • Enter and digitise land records data accurately into the designated government software systems
  • Verify data entries against original land record documents for consistency and correctness
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all land records information handled during the digitisation process
  • Coordinate with district-level revenue officials to resolve data discrepancies and ensure timely completion of assigned work

Exam Pattern

Selection is entirely merit-based on CPCT Score Card. There is no separate written exam conducted by MPLRS.

CPCT Score Components

  • Computer Proficiency — Primary component carrying the main weightage for merit ranking
  • Hindi Net Typing Speed — Used as a qualifying criterion and tie-breaker
  • English Net Typing Speed — Used as a tie-breaker along with Hindi typing

Tie-Breaking Rules

  1. If two candidates have equal Computer Proficiency scores, the candidate with higher Hindi typing marks is placed higher
  2. If Hindi typing marks are also equal, English typing marks are compared
  3. If all scores are equal, the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order gets preference

After the merit list is published, candidates will fill district preferences through a choice-filling process, followed by document verification at the allotted district.
