Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV), Rahuri has released a notification for 4 temporary posts at the Agricultural Research Station, Kasbe Digraj. These posts are under the product testing grants for carrying out technical and field work on soybean breeding, plant pathology, biopesticide and biofertilizer production. This is a contractual job, initially for 6 months and likely to be extended based on budget. Both freshers and experienced candidates can apply, but preference goes to those with related experience.

Who Can Apply?

Laboratory Attendant (1 post)

• Essential: You must have passed the HSC (12th Standard) examination.
• Desirable: At least 3 years experience in biopesticide or biofertilizer production, plus an MSCIT (computer) certificate.

Skilled Helper cum Labour (3 posts)

• Essential: You must have passed the 7th Standard examination.
• Desirable: At least 3 years experience in field work related to soybean breeding or plant pathology.

Preference will be given to candidates with related experience. Only candidates meeting the essential qualification need to apply.

Salary

• Laboratory Attendant: Rs. 15,000 per month (fixed)
• Skilled Helper cum Labour: Rs. 12,000 per month (fixed)
• The pay is a fixed amount with no separate allowances, as these are contractual posts under the product testing grant.

Selection Process

Selection is done through a simple two-step process:

1. Screening of Applications: Only candidates who meet the essential qualification are shortlisted.
2. Interview: The selection committee will interview the eligible candidates. You will be informed of the date and time by email. You must attend at your own cost — no TA/DA or accommodation is given.

Selected candidates must execute a bond of Rs. 500 on stamp paper as per university rules and give an undertaking to complete the assignment.
