• Qualification: Ph.D. or Master's Degree in the relevant subject with NET/SLET/SET as prescribed by UGC/ICAR.
• NET/SLET/SET is not required for master's programmes in disciplines where it is not conducted.
• Experience: 2 years of experience in Research, Teaching, or Extension Education.
• Publications: At least 2 published papers in recognized journals with an ISSN number (short notes/communications not counted).

For Master's Degree Without NET/SLET/SET (Rs. 25,000/month):

• You can still apply with just a Master's degree, but your pay will be reduced to Rs. 25,000 per month as per university guidelines.

Whichever subject you apply for, you will be expected to conduct theory and practical classes, take part in examination duties like invigilation and paper evaluation, and support the college's admission, counselling, cultural, and sports activities alongside your teaching load.

Salary

• Ph.D./NET/SLET/SET qualified candidates will get a fixed pay of Rs. 45,000 per month.
• Master's degree holders without NET/SLET/SET will get a fixed pay of Rs. 25,000 per month.
• This is a consolidated contractual salary for the 11-month appointment period, or until the post is filled on the regular establishment, whichever comes first.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following steps:

1. Screening: Applications are checked against the essential qualifications for each subject.
2. Interview: Eligible candidates are interviewed by a Selection Committee approved by the University. You must bring all original documents — failure to do so leads to rejection of your candidature.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview, and you will need to attend at your own cost. If selected, you will need to submit an undertaking on a Rs. 500 bond paper accepting all the terms and conditions of the contract, including that the appointment ends automatically once a candidate joins the post on a regular basis, and that you cannot take up any other appointment during your contract period.
