MJPRU Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026: Overview

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly is forming Assistant Professor panels for teaching on a per-lecture basis during the academic session. This is a university-wide exercise covering departments across humanities, sciences, engineering, management, languages and agriculture. Being placed on a panel does not guarantee a teaching assignment: the university will call panel members as departmental needs arise.

Posts and Disciplines

• Humanities and Advance Social Science: Ancient History and Culture, Applied and Regional Economics, Applied and Clinical Psychology, Applied Philosophy/PG Diploma in Yoga, and Humanities are included.
• Life Science: The panel covers Bio Informatics (M.Sc.), Animal Science and Microbiology.
• Legal Studies: Law (LLM) is the subject named under this faculty.
• Engineering and Technology: Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics and Applied Chemistry appear alongside CSIT, EC, EI, EE, CH, ME and Pharmacy. These department labels follow the notice.
• Management: MBA and Hotel Management are listed separately within the faculty.
• Linguistics: Applied English is included, together with the CoEMS subjects Functional Hindi, German, French, Spanish and Pali.
• Agricultural Science and Technology: The subjects are Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Extension, Entomology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Mathematics/Statistics, Plant Pathology and Soil Science.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Panel purpose: This process creates a pool of teachers for departmental requirements. You may be called for a teaching assignment only when the university needs someone in your subject.
• Limited engagement: The notice describes the assignments as temporary, on a lecture basis, for 11 months. They carry no claim to regular appointment under any circumstances.
• No automatic empanelment: Attending the walk-in does not by itself secure a place on a panel. Keep that distinction in mind when planning your participation.
• Reservation: The university will apply the State Government reservation rules to this exercise.
• Detailed terms: The university says it will provide the empanelment terms and conditions at the interview. Those terms should inform your decision about accepting an assignment.

Application Submission Notes

Report to the office of the respective Dean at MJPRU, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The notice gives a 10:00 AM reporting time; check the subject-specific schedule in the requirements before travelling.

The university provides an application form with the notice and also directs applicants to download it from its website. Bring the completed form to the walk-in; the notice also asks for a printed account of your academic record and experience on plain paper.
