Selection Process
Selection is through a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification. For clerical posts, the exam covers Marathi, English, General Knowledge, and Intelligence. For technical posts, 60% of the paper tests general subjects and 40% covers your technical syllabus. Driver posts also have a vocational or trade test worth 80 marks. You need at least 45% marks to qualify for the merit list.
Preparation Tips for MAFSU Non-Teaching Exam
- Download the official syllabus from mafsu.ac.in -- the syllabus differs by post category
- Each question carries 2 marks. You get 120 minutes for 100 questions -- that is about 72 seconds per question
- For technical posts, focus extra on the 40 technical questions as they carry 80 marks
- Brush up on current affairs from the last 6 months for the General Knowledge section
- Take at least 5-10 mock tests to build speed since the exam is computer-based
- If the exam is held in multiple sessions, normalization will apply -- so attempt all questions

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
SSC (10th) with ITI to Postgraduate degree depending on the post. Ranges from SSC + ITI for technical trades to M.Sc./B.V.Sc. for Group B posts.
Preferred Qualification
Computer proficiency certificate as per Maharashtra government rules
Required Skills
Computer knowledge mandatory for all posts, Marathi language proficiency, Typing speed 30 WPM Marathi and 40 WPM English for clerical posts
