LIC Housing Finance Limited (LIC HFL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Life Insurance Corporation of India, has announced recruitment for 180 Junior Assistant posts spread across its branch offices in 19 states and union territories. This is a city-specific recruitment — you apply for a particular vacancy city and if selected, you will be posted there. You must apply for only one city. The selection is based on an online examination followed by an interview.

Note: Candidates can apply for only one vacancy city. Posting will be in the applied city subject to merit and suitability.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must be a graduate in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks from a university recognised by the Government of India. Your degree result must have been declared on or before 01 April 2026.
• Important: Degrees completed through correspondence, distance learning, or part-time mode are not eligible.
• Computer Literacy: You must have working knowledge of computer systems.
• Work Experience: Prior work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit

• You must be between 21 and 30 years old as on 01 April 2026.
• This means you must have been born not earlier than 02 April 1996 and not later than 01 April 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Salary

• Basic Pay: Rs. 20,000 per month (same for all cities)
• City Category I (e.g., Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR): Total CTC Rs. 41,509 per month. Net take-home approximately Rs. 29,527 plus meal coupon of Rs. 5,040.
• City Category II: Total CTC Rs. 39,909 per month. Net take-home approximately Rs. 27,927 plus meal coupon of Rs. 5,040.
• City Category III: Total CTC Rs. 38,709 per month. Net take-home approximately Rs. 26,727 plus meal coupon of Rs. 5,040.
• CTC includes HRA, other benefits, PF company contribution, Mediclaim, and Group Insurance contributions.
• You are also eligible for Gratuity, Staff Housing Loan scheme, and Performance Linked Incentive as per company rules.
• Annual increment of up to 10% of Basic Pay based on quarterly/annual performance.

Application Fee

• All candidates: Rs. 800 + 18% GST = Rs. 944 (total)
• The fee is the same for all categories — General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS.
• Fee is non-refundable. Payment must be made online only.
• Payment modes: Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, Mobile Wallets.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Online Examination: Objective type, 200 MCQs for 200 marks in 120 minutes. Exam is in English language only. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer. No penalty for unanswered questions.
2. Interview: Candidates who rank high enough in the online exam based on merit will be called for interview. You must score the minimum qualifying marks to proceed.
3. Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination at their own expense by a medical examiner authorised by LIC HFL.
4. Background Verification: Background checks will be done for all selected candidates. Any adverse findings can lead to termination of employment.

Final selection is based on combined marks of online examination and interview, strictly in merit order.
