The University of Kerala has notified the post of Registrar, the principal administrative officer of the university and the custodian of its records, correspondence and statutory files at the University Buildings in Thiruvananthapuram. The office is filled under the University of Kerala Statutes on a fixed tenure, which is why the notification asks for a mix of university teaching and hands-on administration rather than either one alone. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: you hold the office for a maximum of four years from the date you enter it, and the term ends sooner if you reach the statutory retirement age for the post in the meantime.
