Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital (JPCH), Delhi is hiring 12 Senior Resident Doctors on an adhoc basis across six departments. If you have an MBBS with a PG Degree, Diploma or DNB in the relevant speciality and are registered with the Delhi Medical Council, you can attend the walk-in interview. The first interview is on 26 May 2026 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM. The salary is Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month (Level 11) plus allowances.

JPCH Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 - 12 Posts

Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital (JPCH), Shastri Park, Delhi, under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, has invited applications for 12 Senior Resident posts in Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Anaesthesia. There is no written exam — selection is through a walk-in interview only. Both fresh PG doctors and experienced candidates can apply.

• Obstetrics & Gynaecology: 4 posts
• Anaesthesia: 3 posts
• Medicine: 2 posts
• Surgery: 1 post
• Radiology: 1 post
• Paediatrics: 1 post

One post is reserved for a Physically Handicapped person as horizontal reservation. The number of vacancies is provisional and may change.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need an MBBS with a PG Degree, Diploma or DNB in the concerned speciality from a recognised university or institution.
• Registration: You must have a valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC).
• Senior Residency limit: You should not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency in any recognised institution (regular or adhoc).
• If PG Degree/Diploma/DNB holders are not available, candidates with 2 years experience in Obs & Gynae and 3 years experience in other departments (except Radiology) from a Govt./Govt.-aided institution will be considered.
• If fresh candidates are not available, those who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency may also be allowed to appear in the interview.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years for General and OBC candidates.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get age relaxation as per government rules.

Salary

• Pay scale: Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month under Level 11.
• You will also get allowances as admissible under the rules.
• Hostel accommodation is mandatory for selected candidates, subject to availability.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in this order:

1. Walk-in Interview: Mode of selection is through interview only. Report at the Administrative Block (5th Floor), JPCH.
2. Document Verification: Original certificates of education, age, caste, internship completion and DMC registration will be checked.
3. Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must report before the medical board of JPCH within 2 days of getting the offer letter. Non-appearance or being found unfit will cancel the offer.

2. Collect the application form from the Administration Branch (available 9 AM to 10:00 AM on the interview day).
3. Fill in the form and self-attest copies of all certificates and testimonials.
4. Attach one passport size photograph.
5. Report at the Administrative Block (5th Floor) with all original certificates between 9 AM and 10:00 AM.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• Handle patient care and treatment in the assigned department under senior doctors
• Attend ward rounds, OPD duties and emergency cases
• Assist consultants during procedures, surgeries and deliveries as needed
• Keep accurate patient records, case sheets and discharge summaries
• Work in shifts including night and on-call duty
• Follow hospital protocols, safety guidelines and infection control rules
• Guide and supervise junior residents and interns in the department
