Who Can Apply?

For PGT Posts

• Qualification: You need a Master's degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, and you should have studied the same subject at graduation level.
• Teacher training: You also need a B.Ed. degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
• Subject notes: PGT Mathematics accepts Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. PGT Biology accepts Botany, Zoology, Life Science, Bio Science, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or Plant Physiology with Botany and Zoology at graduation level.

For TGT Posts

• Qualification: You need a four-year integrated NCERT degree course in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks, or a bachelor's degree with 50% marks in the concerned subject plus B.Ed. or equivalent.
• CTET: TGT Urdu, Hindi, Science, English and Social Studies require CTET Paper II conducted by CBSE.
• Subject condition: Urdu, Hindi and English posts require that subject in all three years where stated in the notice.
• TGT Islamiat: You can apply with B.A. (Hons.) Islamic Studies or M.A. Islamic Studies with 50% marks plus B.Ed., or Alim/Fazil with a bachelor's degree and B.Ed. as per the notice.

• PET and Yoga: You need a university degree with recognised Diploma in Physical Education, or B.P.Ed., or an equivalent qualification with 50% marks.
