Who Can Apply?

Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Junior Typist and Stenographer Grade-III

  • Qualification: You must have passed at least +3 examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
  • Computer qualification: You must have passed at least Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised institute.
  • Odia language: You must be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed Odia at Middle School standard.
  • Typing requirement: Junior Typist needs 40 WPM English typing through computer system.
  • Steno requirement: Stenographer Grade-III needs 80 WPM shorthand and 40 WPM English typing through computer system.

Salaried Amin

  • Qualification: You must have passed matriculation or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
  • Training: You must have passed Revenue Inspector Training.
  • Health and conduct: You should be of good character, sound health and free from serious bodily infirmity.

Age Limit

  • You should be above 18 years and below 42 years as on 17 July 2026.
  • SC, ST, SEBC and women: Upper age relaxation is 5 years as applicable in the notice.
  • PwD: Upper age relaxation is 10 years.
  • Ex-servicemen: Service period will be deducted from present age, and the resultant age should not exceed 42 years.

Salary

  • Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist: Level 4, Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month.
  • Junior Typist: Level 4, Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month.
  • Stenographer Grade-III: Level 7, Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month.
  • Salaried Amin: Level 5, Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month.
  • You will also get DA and other allowances as allowed by the Government of Odisha.

Selection Process

The selection has written tests, skill tests, computer practical test and viva-voce depending on the post.

  1. Written Test: English, Arithmetic and General Knowledge papers are used for clerk, typist and stenographer posts. Salaried Amin has Arithmetic and Technical Knowledge in Survey and Settlement.
  2. Skill Test: Junior Typist has English typewriting test. Stenographer Grade-III has shorthand and typewriting test.
  3. Computer Science Practical: Shortlisted candidates must qualify the practical computer test.
  4. Viva-Voce: Final shortlisted candidates will attend viva-voce for suitability assessment.
  5. Shortlisting: Career merit and written test cut-offs will be applied as per Odisha District Court rules.
