IRCTC CA CMA Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in Interview

IRCTC East Zone is hiring 4 Qualified CA/CMA professionals on contract. If you are a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) with 2 years post-qualification experience, you can attend the walk-in interview. The consolidated pay is Rs. 70,000 per month. The interview is on 21 May 2026 at the IRCTC Zonal Office, Kolkata. Maximum age is 40 years (with relaxation for reserved categories).

IRCTC CA / CMA Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), a Mini Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has issued notification No. IRCTC/EZ/HRD/Recruit./Contract./CA_CMA/2026/01 for contractual engagement of CA/CMA professionals in its East Zone. The initial contract is for 2 years and can be extended by 1 more year based on requirement and satisfactory performance. Selected candidates will be posted at IRCTC Zonal Office, Kolkata, but IRCTC may deploy them anywhere in India.

Vacancy Details

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost & Management Accountant (CMA): 4 posts
• Reservation: As per Government of India policy
• Vacancy revision: IRCTC may increase or decrease the number of vacancies as per Corporation requirement and issue a corrigendum.
• Reserved Panel: An equal number of suitable candidates may be placed on a reserved panel for future engagement.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
• ERP exposure: Essential 1 year working exposure of ERP/SAP or Oracle.
• Accounting and taxation: Essential 1 year working experience in accounting and taxation other than audit.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
• Government/PSU employees: Apply through proper channel or bring NOC at the interview.
• Computer knowledge: Knowledge of MS Office and report preparation is desirable.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 40 years for UR candidates as on 27 April 2026.
• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• SC / ST: 5 years relaxation
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation

Salary

• Consolidated pay: Rs. 70,000 per month (including statutory deductions).
• Other allowances: As applicable under IRCTC rules.
• Medical insurance: Reimbursable on submission of valid documents as per IRCTC extant guidelines.

Application Fee

• No application fee is required to attend the walk-in interview.
• Security deposit after selection: Selected candidates must furnish Rs. 25,000 as security deposit through Demand Draft.
• No TA/DA is paid for attending the walk-in interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through walk-in interview only - there is no written exam.

1. Application Form Submission: Fill the application form attached with the notification and submit it at the interview venue.
2. Document Verification: Carry all originals, one set of self-attested copies, and two passport-size photographs.
3. Personal Interview: Candidates are shortlisted based on credentials and interview performance.
4. Medical Fitness Test: Engagement is subject to medical fitness as prescribed by IRCTC.
5. Antecedent Verification: Offer of engagement is subject to verification of antecedents.

• Work on ERP/SAP, Oracle, and other accounting systems used by IRCTC
• Assist senior finance officers with reports, statutory compliance, and day-to-day finance tasks
• Keep financial records accurate and ready for internal checks or reporting
