Post-wise Duties

Medical Officer

In this clinical role, you would generally assess patients and guide their treatment during mobile healthcare visits. You would work with nursing and pharmacy staff to coordinate care.

Staff Nurse

As the nursing member of the team, you would generally assist with patient care and clinical procedures. Your work supports the Medical Officer during the unit's healthcare visits.

Pharmacist-cum-Administrative Employee

This combined role brings pharmacy work and administrative support together. Typical work includes handling prescribed medicines, keeping stock records and helping with the unit's records.

Driver-cum-Support Staff

The driving and support role keeps the vehicle available for the mobile service. Typical work includes safe driving, routine vehicle checks and helping the team with operational needs.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The initial engagement lasts one year from appointment. An extension depends on need and approval from the IRCS Chhattisgarh State Branch.
• Temporary arrangement: The project appointment gives you no claim to regularisation or absorption into government service. Unsatisfactory performance can lead to immediate removal.
• Leaving the post: You must give one month's notice before resigning or deposit an amount equal to one month's honorarium.
• Leave: Casual leave follows the applicable Chhattisgarh contractual appointment rules.
• Operational duties: The district collector may assign additional work connected with running medical services.
• Recruitment changes: The authority may change the advertised positions, revise the process or cancel it according to requirements.
• Waiting list: The list remains valid for one year and may also be used if additional staff are needed.
• Conduct: Attempts to influence recruitment can lead to rejection. False information can lead to cancellation and legal action.
