- ICMR project skills: Research work relevant to the project is needed, and machine learning or data science familiarity is desirable.
- Phytochemical project: Master's degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Environmental Sciences, or Computational Biology with project-relevant research experience.
- Phytochemical project skills: Manual curation of biological datasets, chemical spaces, or network science is desirable.
Trainee Posts
- Administrative Trainee: Any bachelor's degree with first class, good English knowledge, MS-Office skills, email operations, and accounting procedure knowledge.
- System Trainee: B.Sc in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or IT, BCA, or B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, ECE, EEE, or IT with at least 60% aggregate marks.
- Pass-out year: Trainee applicants must have passed out during 2023, 2024, or 2025 only.
Age Limit
- Project posts: Less than 40 years of age as on the last date of receipt of applications.
- Trainee posts: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on the last date of receipt of applications.

Salary
- Project Associate-I: Rs. 32,500 for bachelor's degree without experience, Rs. 48,000 for bachelor's degree with 2 or more years of experience, or Rs. 48,000 for MSc/BE/BTech without experience.
- Project Assistant: Rs. 48,000 for less than 2 years of experience and Rs. 54,500 for more than 2 years of experience.
- Administrative Trainee: Rs. 20,000 per month as consolidated stipend.
- System Trainee: Rs. 20,000 per month as consolidated stipend.
- Allowances: The project salary and trainee stipend are consolidated and all inclusive.

Responsibilities
- Handle research data, code, and literature support for assigned IMSc project work.
- Assist project investigators with experiments, datasets, analysis, and research notes.
- Maintain biological, chemical, physics, or administrative records as required by the post.
- Support office files, email work, MS-Office tasks, and accounting procedure exposure for administrative training.
- Manage IT support, system diagnostics, printer configuration, operating system deployment, and record keeping for system training.
- Prepare clear updates for supervisors and respond to shortlisted test or interview instructions on time.
- Follow IMSc contract or traineeship rules, confidentiality, and document requirements during the appointment or training period.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in relevant science/technology stream for some posts; master's degree or B.Tech/M.Tech required for project assistant roles; trainee posts need bachelor's degree as specified
Preferred Qualification
