Indian Institute of Technology Mandi Robotics JRF Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) has issued Advertisement No. IITM/SRIC/Project No. IITM/ANRF/DR/601.2026(1) for a temporary project post. The project title is Imitation learning framework for autonomous robotic ultrasonography via vision-language-action conditioning. This is a strong fit for engineering graduates who want research exposure in robotics, AI, vision-language-action systems, and biomedical automation.
The project is funded by ANRF and the project investigator is Dr. Deepak Raina. The initial appointment can run for 36 months or up to the project end date, whichever is earlier, subject to performance and fund availability. The project end date shown in the notice is 9 June 2029, so the extracted number 2029 is the project year, not a vacancy count.
This is a temporary project-funded role, not a permanent IIT Mandi post. Renewal for a few months or a year will depend on your performance and the project requirement, so you should apply with a research-focused CV rather than a generic resume.
