IIM Bangalore Academic Associate (Decision Sciences) Recruitment 2026

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), a leading graduate school of management in Asia and an Institute of National Importance under the IIM Act of 2017, has invited applications for the post of Academic Associate in the Decision Sciences Area. This position is ideal for candidates with strong academic credentials who want to gain research and teaching experience before pursuing a doctoral programme. The role is initially for one year, extendable up to three years. Freshers and experienced candidates with a Master's degree in quantitative fields can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Master's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, or a closely related field such as Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Scientific Computing.
• Also eligible: Candidates with an MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) equivalent to a Master's degree from reputed business schools can also apply.
• Purpose: This position is best suited for candidates who have a long-term interest in pursuing a doctoral programme and want to engage in teaching and research at a premier institute.

Stipend

• Selected candidates will receive an all-inclusive monthly stipend of Rs. 43,000 to Rs. 55,000.

Selection Process

1. Application Screening: All applications will be reviewed and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
