IIITN Project Associate I Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Information Technology Nagpur (IIIT Nagpur) is hiring a Project Associate I for the ANRF PAIR IITB HUB project at its Waranga campus. The study focuses on the design and performance of an alkaline electrolyzer for hydrogen production, bringing experimental and theoretical work together. It sits within the Energy and Sustainability theme and Green Hydrogen subtheme, with Dr. Aatish S. Daryapurkar and Dr. Sushmita Dandeliya named as investigators.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: Your initial contract runs for 12 months. Any extension depends on satisfactory performance and cannot go beyond the approved project period.
• No permanent appointment: This engagement does not give you a right to extension, absorption or preference in regular recruitment at IIIT Nagpur.
• Work location and travel: You will be based at the campus in Village Waranga, Nagpur. Be ready to visit other institutes or research centres when the project needs it.
• Ending the engagement: Either you or the subtheme investigator can end the association by giving one month of written notice.
• Further study: Selected applicants may apply to the institute’s Ph.D. programme under its rules. The project appointment does not itself provide admission.
• Accommodation: Hostel accommodation may be offered if space is available. It is not a guaranteed part of the appointment.
• Interview travel: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview.
• Recruitment decisions: The Director can reject applications, cancel recruitment or change communications. Any legal dispute falls under Nagpur jurisdiction.
• Accuracy and conduct: False information, hidden facts or attempts to influence recruitment can lead to disqualification.
