Indian Air Force (IAF) Agniveervayu Open Recruitment Rally 2026

The Indian Air Force (IAF), through No. 11 Airmen Selection Centre, Guwahati, has announced an Open Recruitment Rally for Agniveervayu (Other Than Science Subject) under Intake 01/2027. This rally is open to candidates from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim. Agniveervayu are recruited under the 4-year Agnipath Scheme, with the option of retention in the Air Force based on performance and organisational requirements. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You should have passed 10+2 (any stream) — this rally is for the "Other Than Science Subject" category, so a Science background is not required.
• Domicile: You must belong to Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura or Sikkim, since this rally is conducted by the Guwahati Airmen Selection Centre for North Eastern candidates.
• Gender: Both male and female candidates can apply. Women report on 1-2 September 2026 and men report on 4-5 September 2026.
• Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates can apply, as per standard Agniveervayu recruitment norms.

Selection Process

Candidates at this rally go through the following stages, as per standard IAF Agniveervayu norms:

1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Includes running and height/physical measurements at the rally venue.
2. Written/Online Examination: Shortlisted candidates take a computer-based test set by the IAF.
3. Medical Examination: Conducted as per Air Force medical standards.
4. Document Verification: Your original certificates and identity documents are checked before final selection.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official IAF recruitment portal at iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in and read the Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 Open Rally notification carefully.
2. Check that you qualify for the Chumoukedima (Nagaland) rally venue.
3. Keep your original certificates, ID proof and photographs ready.
4. Report at the Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre (NAPTC), Chumoukedima District, Nagaland, on your scheduled reporting date.
5. Women should report by 0530 hrs on 1 September 2026 and men by 0530 hrs on 4 September 2026.
