The Indian Institute of Sustainability (IIS), Gujarat University, Ahmedabad has invited applications for teaching positions across its MBA (Integrated) and MBA (HPP) programmes in General Management subjects. The total of 4 vacancies covers 3 Assistant Professor posts and 1 Research Associate post. The engagement is purely on contract basis for 11 months on consolidated salary. The interview will be held on 1 June 2026 (Monday) at IIS, Gujarat University.

Vacancy Breakdown

• Assistant Professor: 3 posts — Consolidated salary Rs. 60,000 per month
• Research Associate: 1 post — Consolidated salary Rs. 50,000 per month

Total number of posts may vary. The University reserves the right to fill less or more positions as per requirement.

Who Can Apply?

For Assistant Professor (Rs. 60,000/month)

• 1st Class Master's Degree in Management with specialisation in Human Resource / Finance / Marketing / General Management or a related area.
• SLET / NET / Ph.D. is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience is mandatory.

For Research Associate (Rs. 50,000/month)

• 1st Class Master's Degree in Management with specialisation in Human Resource / Finance / Marketing / General Management or a related area.
• SLET / NET / Ph.D. is preferred along with 1 year of experience (desirable).

In case no eligible NET/SLET/Ph.D. candidates are available, non-NET/SLET/Ph.D. candidates may also be considered.

Salary

• Assistant Professor: Rs. 60,000 per month (consolidated, for SLET/NET/Ph.D. holders)
• Research Associate: Rs. 50,000 per month (consolidated)
• The appointment is purely on contract basis for 11 months with no additional allowances.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is purely interview-based:

1. Screening of online applications: Only candidates who are prima facie eligible will be shortlisted.
2. Display of shortlist: Names of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on https://iisg.ac.in/ on 29 May 2026 by 5:00 PM (IST).
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for the interview on 1 June 2026 (Monday) at IIS, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.

At the interview, you must bring originals and copies of all testimonials along with the prescribed application form.
