Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Degree route: You should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, excluding Civil Engineering, from a recognised university or institution.
• Diploma route: You should have a diploma in Engineering or Technology, excluding Civil Engineering, from the Technical Examination Board or a recognised institution, along with about 2 years practical work experience as a technical worker.
• Experience condition: Diploma-route experience should be practical technical work, not labour work, in Government, Government undertaking, board, industry, large-scale industrial house, or a company under the Companies Act, 2013.

Other Eligibility Conditions

• Computer knowledge: You need basic knowledge of computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services rules.
• Language knowledge: You need adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
• Citizenship: You must be an Indian citizen or meet the nationality conditions under Gujarat service rules.

Age Limit

• You should be at least 18 years old and not more than 35 years old as on 20 June 2026.
• Women and reserved categories: Relaxation is available as per Gujarat Government rules, with maximum age limits shown in the notice for different categories.
• Ex-servicemen and PwBD: Relaxation is available as per the rules mentioned in the notification.

Salary

• For the first 5 years, selected applicants will get a fixed salary of Rs. 40,800 per month.
