Salary

• Initial salary for the first five years is Rs. 26,000 per month fixed pay.
• After satisfactory service, the post moves to Pay Matrix Level 4.
• The Level 4 pay scale is Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month.

Physical Standards

For Male Candidates

• Height: 155 cm for Gujarat ST candidates; 163 cm for other male candidates.
• Chest: 79 cm normal and 84 cm expanded, with at least 5 cm expansion.
• Weight: 50 kg.
• Physical Test: 1600 metre run in 6 minutes, high jump 4 feet 3 inches, long jump 15 feet, 8 pull-ups, and 18 feet rope climbing.

For Female Candidates

• Height: 145 cm for Gujarat ST candidates; 150 cm for other female candidates.
• Weight: 45 kg.
• Physical Test: 800 metre run in 4 minutes, high jump 3 feet, and long jump 9 feet.

Application Fee

• Exam fee for the notified category is Rs. 400.
• The fee must be paid online only through OJAS.
• Payment modes include debit card, internet banking, UPI, and wallet.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through written exam, physical test, document verification, and merit preparation.

1. Written Exam: 100 MCQ questions for 200 marks in 3 hours, with 0.25 negative marking for wrong answers.
2. Physical Test: Candidates who score at least 40% in the written exam can be called for the qualifying physical test.
3. Document Verification: Qualified candidates will be called as per merit and vacancy requirements.
4. Final Merit: Merit will be prepared based on written exam marks and eligible additional weightage.

Additional weightage is available for eligible sports certificates, NCC C certificate, widow category, and B.Sc. Forestry as described in the notification.
