Gadwal ABP Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview
The Office of the District Collector, Jogulamba Gadwal is hiring an Aspirational Block Programme (ABP) Fellow for Ghattu Block in Telangana. The role supports the ABP of NITI Aayog, Government of India, by connecting block-level planning with local development needs. You will work with officials on development strategies, using field observations and programme data to help them understand progress and gaps.
The Ghattu Block assignment combines work with officials and engagement with the community. The programme aims to improve resource use, strengthen monitoring and evaluation, and help local stakeholders build the knowledge and skills needed to participate in development initiatives. Your work will sit within this block-level programme, under the guidance of the Block Development Officer (BDO).
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Temporary engagement: This appointment does not create a right to a regular government post. You should consider it as a programme assignment with the temporary status described in the notice.
- Reporting arrangement: You will report to the BDO for day-to-day work and function under the BDO’s overall guidance. Issues affecting the block and support needed for programme work must be brought to that office.
- Administrative decision: The District Collector decides whether an applicant meets the conditions, subject to the relevant rules and orders.
- Accuracy of information: Incorrect information or failure to meet a condition can lead to cancellation of your application or engagement, even if the issue comes to light later.
- Engagement route: The administration may explore using an approved third-party or State/District-level agency. The notice presents this as a possibility, rather than a confirmed arrangement.
