ESIC Hospital Udaipur, Rajasthan (under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India) has released a rolling walk-in advertisement for engagement of Full-Time Specialists, Part-Time Specialists and Senior Residents on contract basis. This is a rolling recruitment valid up to 31 December 2026 — walk-in interviews will be held on the third Thursday of every month for unfilled or fresh vacancies. Who Can Apply?

For Full-Time / Part-Time Specialists:

• Qualification: MBBS with MD/MS/DNB or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from an MCI/NMC-recognised college
• Registration: You must be registered with MCI/NMC or the State Medical Council
• Experience: Minimum 3 years after PG Degree OR minimum 5 years after Diploma in the concerned specialty
• Note: Candidates with at least 5 years of post-specialty experience may be considered as Consultant (Senior Level)

For Senior Residents:

• Qualification: MBBS with PG Degree / Diploma in the concerned specialization from an MCI/NMC-recognised college
• Registration: Must be registered with MCI/NMC or the State Medical Council

Age Limit

• Specialists (FTS/PTS): Maximum age 67 years as on the date of interview
• Senior Residents: Maximum age 45 years as on the date of interview
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years, OBC (NCL) - 3 years, PwBD (UR) - 10 years, PwBD (OBC) - 13 years, PwBD (SC/ST) - 15 years, Ex-Servicemen - as per Govt. of India rules
• Note: Age relaxation for EWS candidates is not applicable

Salary

• Specialist (Entry Level): Rs. 1,14,955 per month (consolidated remuneration)
• Specialist (Senior Level): Rs. 1,33,802 per month (consolidated remuneration, for those with 5+ years post-specialty experience)
• Part-Time Specialist (Option 1): Rs. 60,000 per month + Rs. 15,000 visiting charge for emergency calls (4 hours/day, 4 days/week)
• Part-Time Specialist (Option 2): Rs. 60,000 per month + fixed % of CGHS rates on case-to-case basis
• Senior Resident: Basic Pay Rs. 67,700 per month in Level 11 of 7th CPC plus NPA, DA, HRA, TA and other allowances

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 500 (Demand Draft only)
• SC / ST: No fee (exempted)
• PwBD: No fee (exempted)
• Payment Mode: Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1" payable at Udaipur
• Note: The DD must be issued after the date of publication of this advertisement. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

Selection is based purely on a walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: Reporting time 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Documents are scrutinised by the Scrutiny Committee. Candidates reporting after 11 AM will not be considered.
2. Walk-in Interview: Only candidates whose documents are verified and found eligible are permitted to appear before the Selection Board.
3. Screening Test (if needed): If applicants are large in number, a screening test may be conducted at the discretion of the Institute.

Selection is purely on the basis of performance in the interview before the Selection Board.

How to Apply

1. Download the official notification from esic.gov.in/recruitments.
2. Fill in the prescribed Application Form (Annexure B from the notification).
3. Prepare a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1" payable at Udaipur (SC/ST/PwBD exempted).
4. Arrange original certificates: proof of age, educational qualifications, MCI/NMC registration, experience certificates, caste/EWS/PwBD certificate (if applicable), NOC if employed.
5. Reach the Conference Hall, ESIC Hospital Udaipur, Chitrakoot Nagar, Bhuvana, Udaipur - 313001 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on 18 May 2026.
6. Submit the application form along with self-attested copies of all documents and original DD at the document verification desk.

• Conduct surgeries, procedures and clinical investigations as required by the post
• Maintain proper medical records and follow ESIC hospital protocols
• Wear the prescribed white coat with name badge during duty hours
• Mark attendance through the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS)
