ESIC Indore Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract duration: Engagement initially lasts one year and can end earlier when a regular appointee joins. The opening faculty terms allow extensions up to three years, depending on performance and the hospital's needs.
• Post adjustments: Higher-qualified faculty may be considered against a lower post with temporary upgrading. Super-specialty posts may be downgraded when a suitable applicant for the advertised rank is unavailable; the selection board decides.
• Reservation: Government reservation rules apply. The notice permits short engagements against unfilled reserved posts, while its EWS provisions allow unreserved applicants to be considered after the stated attempts to fill those posts.
• Private practice: You cannot undertake private practice after joining as teaching faculty. Contractual engagement does not give you a claim to pension, gratuity, seniority, promotion or the other service benefits excluded in the notice.
• Ending the contract: Either side must give one month's notice. If you resign immediately, you must deposit one month's salary as directed by ESIC.
• Attendance and leave: You must record attendance manually and through the Aadhaar-enabled biometric system. Leave accrues at 2.5 days per completed month; Sunday and holiday duties follow the roster.
• Absence: More than seven days away without permission can automatically end your engagement and lead to loss of the security deposit.
• Joining commitments: A security deposit, a signed contract and, for patient-care work, professional indemnity cover form part of the appointment conditions. Check the structured requirements for the amounts and department-specific cover.
• Travel: ESIC will not reimburse travel or daily expenses for attending the interview or providing documents.
