Who Can Apply?

Teaching Faculty and Super Specialist Faculty

• Qualification: You must meet the NMC Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations, 2025 for the concerned specialty.
• Specialty match: Your degree and experience must match the department/post for which you are applying.

Senior Resident Posts

• Qualification: You need a PG degree in MD, MS, or DNB in the relevant specialty.

Part-time Ayurveda Physician

Age Limit

• Teaching Faculty: Maximum 69 years as on 01 June 2026.
• Super Specialist Faculty case-to-case empanelment: Maximum 69 years as on 01 June 2026.
• Senior Residents: Maximum 45 years as on 01 June 2026.
• Senior Residents in specified pre-clinical/para-clinical/community subjects: Maximum 50 years as on 01 June 2026.
• Part-time Ayurveda Physician: Maximum 45 years as on 01 June 2026.
• Super Specialist empanelment: Upper age is 65 years on the date of empanelment.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation and OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation where applicable.

Salary

• Professor: Consolidated salary of Rs. 2,42,112 per month.
• Associate Professor: Consolidated salary of Rs. 1,57,056 per month.
• Assistant Professor: Consolidated salary of Rs. 1,35,744 per month.
• Senior Resident (3 Years): Basic pay Rs. 67,700 in Level 11 plus NPA and admissible allowances; consolidated salary shown as Rs. 1,35,744 per month.
• Part-time Ayurveda Physician: Consolidated salary of Rs. 50,000 per month for 5 hours per day and 6 days a week.
• Adjunct Faculty: Rs. 6,000 per day for Director Professor/Professor and Rs. 4,000 per day for Associate Professor.
• Super Specialists: Paid on case-to-case basis under CGHS rates as described in the notification.

Application Fee

• SC / ST / ESIC regular employees / Female / Ex-servicemen / PH candidates: No fee
• All other categories: Rs. 500
• Payment mode: Online payment to the HDFC account mentioned in the notice or demand draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1, payable at Alwar.

Selection Process

Selection for most posts is through document verification and interview before the Selection Board. For Super Specialist empanelment, applications are first scrutinised and shortlisted doctors are then called for a personal interview.

1. Document Verification: Report within the notified time with original documents and self-attested copies.
2. Interview: The Selection Board will assess qualification, experience, specialty fit, and suitability.
3. Screening Test, if required: If Dental department applicants exceed 5 times the posts, a qualifying screening test may be held before interview.
4. Result and Joining: Results will be displayed on esic.gov.in, and selected candidates may need to join immediately or as scheduled.
