Service Conditions and Caveats

• Faculty tenure: The initial contract lasts one year or until a regular appointee joins, whichever comes first. Either side can end the arrangement with one month's notice under the stated terms.
• Residency tenure: The three-year residency scheme starts with a one-year appointment. Annual extensions depend on satisfactory performance and conduct; the GDMO-replacement posts have a one-year term.
• Rolling recruitment: If posts remain unfilled, ESIC can continue weekly rounds and issue updates without publishing a completely new advertisement. Check the current vacancy position before travelling for a later round.
• Reservation: Government of India rules apply. When a suitable reserved-category applicant is unavailable, the notice allows a short appointment of a general-category applicant against that post, subject to its temporary-engagement conditions.
• Panel duration: Super-specialist empanelment can remain valid for three years unless ESIC cancels it earlier. Actual cases depend on hospital demand, and work may rotate between specialists in the same discipline.
• Clinical arrangements: Empanelled specialists provide consultations and procedures inside ESIC Alwar. The hospital supplies supporting staff and materials; consultation timings depend on its needs.
• Practice and travel: Private practice is not allowed during ESIC service. You must cover your own travel and daily expenses for attending the interview.
• Recruitment changes: ESIC may revise the available posts, postpone the process or cancel it. Faculty attendance on the notified day may be used for scrutiny, with interviews arranged later for administrative reasons.
