Project Engineer and Technical Officer

Salary

  • Project Engineer: Rs. 40,000 in year 1, Rs. 45,000 in year 2, Rs. 50,000 in year 3 and Rs. 55,000 in year 4.
  • Technical Officer: Rs. 25,000 in year 1, Rs. 28,000 in year 2 and Rs. 31,000 in years 3 and 4.
  • Assistant Project Engineer: Rs. 26,208 per month, revised every 6 months as per CLC Central guidelines.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

ECIL will select candidates through walk-in registration, document verification and personal interview. The final recommendation is based on a merit formula of 100 marks.

  1. Walk-in Registration: Report at the correct zonal venue between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Late reporting is not allowed.
  2. Document Verification: ECIL will check your age, qualification, marks, experience, identity and category documents.
  3. Qualification Marks: Qualification carries 20% of aggregate percentage.
  4. Relevant Experience: Experience carries up to 30 marks, with different initial experience rules for each post.

Responsibilities

  • Handle technical support work for ECIL customer support projects
  • Work on installation, maintenance, testing or field support tasks as assigned

  • Assist senior teams in troubleshooting electronics, electrical, IT or instrumentation systems
  • Follow ECIL safety, quality and documentation procedures at project sites
  • Coordinate with customers, zonal offices and project teams for daily work

Minimum Qualification

B.E./B.Tech with 60% marks for Project Engineer/Technical Officer, Diploma with 60% marks for Assistant Project Engineer, or ITI pass for Senior Artisan, with relevant experience.
