University of Delhi (DU) Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026 - 9 Posts
The Department of Germanic & Romance Studies, University of Delhi, has invited applications for 9 Guest Faculty positions to teach undergraduate and postgraduate classes for the 2026-27 academic session. The vacancies are spread across four languages — French, German, Spanish, and Italian — with seats reserved for UR, SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates. NET is exempted for the Italian language posts, making it easier for qualified Italian language teachers to apply. Both fresh postgraduates and experienced teachers with prior teaching experience can apply.
Guest Faculty positions are engaged purely on a temporary, session-wise basis and every appointment is subject to final approval from the University. This is still a good opportunity if you are a NET-qualified postgraduate or a PhD scholar looking to gain classroom teaching experience at a top central university, since Guest Faculty assignments at DU often lead to further teaching opportunities in the university system.
