Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: Your appointment lasts one year or until the need ends, whichever happens earlier. These are temporary engagements and do not carry regular government-post status.
• Posting: You must stay at the assigned headquarters. The positions are non-transferable, and selected staff may need to travel for work.
• Administration: Appointees work under the overall control of CH&FW and the Mission Director, NHM. Outsourced staff are appointed through an outsourcing agency.
• Reservation: Community, disability, ex-service and women’s reservation rules apply. Women’s reservation is 33 1/3%, and local-candidate reservation follows the Presidential Order.
• Scheduled Areas: Where the cited G.O.68 applies, posts in Scheduled Areas are reserved exclusively for local Scheduled Tribe candidates.
• Ending the engagement: Either side must give 30 days’ notice. Performance reviews can inform extension or termination when future staffing needs are considered.
• Conduct: Disciplinary and conduct rules apply during employment. Breaches can lead to termination.
• Future requirements: The candidate panel may be used for later vacancies for one year from final selection under this notification.
• Recruitment changes: The District Collector can change, modify or cancel the process. The guidelines also rule out travel or daily allowances for attending interviews.
