The revised notification replaces the earlier application schedule, so you should rely on the revised PDF linked with this listing.
Posts and Disciplines
- Lab Technician: A district-unit laboratory role focused on tuberculosis testing support, sample handling and accurate laboratory records. The notified seat is earmarked for a candidate with the specified locomotor disability under the applicable Telangana order.
- Senior Tuberculosis Laboratory Supervisor: A zonal NTEP role covering programme laboratories across Zone IV. The work combines laboratory supervision, field travel, computer-based reporting and support for diagnostic activity.
Post-wise Duties

The notification also expects STLS staff to travel by two-wheeler and support field X-ray work when the programme asks for it.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Tenure: The engagement runs for one year or until the programme no longer needs the position, whichever happens first. These are not regular government posts.
- Posting: Selected staff must maintain their assigned headquarters, and the positions are not transferable.
- Performance: Continued engagement depends on periodic work reviews and the programme's future requirement.
- Travel: You may need to undertake programme tours; the notice does not provide travel allowance for attending interview or counselling.
- Termination: Either side may end the engagement with the notice period stated in the official notification.
- Vacancy changes: The District Collector may revise the notified requirement until the result is declared.
