DMHO Khammam Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

The District Medical and Health Office, Khammam (DMHO Khammam) is recruiting clinical, nursing and allied-health staff under the National Health Mission (NHM). The district selection committee, headed by the District Collector and District Magistrate, is handling this drive. These are contract or outsourcing appointments for district health services, including Palle Dawakhana roles.

Posts and Disciplines

• Specialist medical posts: The notice covers OBG Specialist, Anesthetist, Urologist, Pathologist and Pediatrician roles, listed under Multi Zone I.
• Physician and General Duty Medical Officer: These medical openings appear alongside the specialist posts in the district's common notification.
• MLHP/CHO/Medical Officer: The Palle Dawakhana group is identified separately from the other medical posts. The notice places its MBBS route in Multi Zone I.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract duration: Appointment lasts for 1 year or until the actual need ends, whichever happens first. These are not permanent or regular government posts.
• Outsourcing appointments: If your post uses the outsourcing route, an outsourcing agency will appoint you. Appointees work under the overall administrative control of the Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare and the Mission Director, NHM.
• Work base: You must remain based at your assigned headquarters. The positions are not transferable, although selected staff may need to undertake tours.
• Continuation: Performance is reviewed periodically and may affect an extension or termination if further staffing is needed. Either side must give 30 days' termination notice.
• Reservation: Community, disability, ex-service and women's reservation rules apply. The notice specifies 33 1/3% reservation for women and applies local-candidate rules under the Presidential Order, along with SC-ST reservation rules.
• Scheduled Areas: Posts covered by G.O.68 in Scheduled Areas are restricted to local Scheduled Tribes. Check whether this condition applies to the post you choose.
• District discretion: The District Collector may modify or cancel the process. The candidate panel can be used for future openings for 1 year from final selection.
• Attendance and conduct: No travel or daily allowance is payable for interview attendance. Service remains subject to the applicable disciplinary rules.
