• Essential: B.Pharm or B.Sc
• Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application; minimum 1 year working experience in relevant field

Library Assistant (LNB Library) - 2 Posts:

• Essential: Bachelor in Library and Information Science (BLISc)
• Desirable: Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc); minimum 2 years experience in cataloguing, circulation, classification and digital library works; proficiency in KOHA, D-Space, SOUL, RFID, OPAC or Digital Repository Systems

Grounds Man (Sports Board) - 1 Post:

• Essential: HSLC (10th Class) passed
• Desirable: Minimum 1 year experience in similar field; knowledge of maintaining lawns, fields, and grounds; proficiency in operating tractors, power mowers, lawn mowers (practical interview will be conducted)

Laboratory Helper Physics (DUIET) - 1 Post:

• Essential: 10+2 (HS) passed in Science Stream with Physics as one of the subjects
• Desirable: Minimum 3 months Certificate Course in Computer Applications; working experience in any educational or research institution

The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and must produce a valid proof of residency issued by the competent authority.

Salary

• Laboratory Assistant: Rs. 31,400 per month (consolidated fixed pay)

• Laboratory Helper (Physics): Rs. 14,730 per month (consolidated fixed pay)

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Screening of Applications: Based on essential and desirable qualifications and documents submitted.
2. Interview / Practical Test: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. For Grounds Man post, a practical interview will be conducted on lawn maintenance and ground-keeping equipment operation.
3. Document Verification: Original testimonials will be verified at the time of interview.

No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.

• Assist in laboratory operations including preparation of equipment, chemicals, and samples (Laboratory Assistant)
• Manage library functions including cataloguing, circulation, classification, and digital library works (Library Assistant)
• Maintain lawns, sports fields, and grounds of the University Sports Board (Grounds Man)
• Operate ground-keeping equipment such as tractors, power mowers, and lawn mowers
• Support physics laboratory practicals and maintain lab equipment at DUIET (Lab Helper - Physics)
• Keep proper records of materials, equipment, and lab/library inventory
• Follow safety guidelines and assist faculty and students during practicals and library hours
