Dibrugarh University, Assam has announced a walk-in interview for some posts of Assistant Professor on contract basis in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The interview will be held at the Bhojraj Seth Conference Hall, office of the Vice Chancellor, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh-786004, Assam. Preference will be given to candidates having a Ph.D. No online application is required — interested candidates can simply attend the walk-in interview with documents.

For Pharmacognosy post:

• First Class M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy with a basic degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Experience of teaching/research work is desirable

For Pharmacology post:

• First Class M.Pharm in Pharmacology with a basic degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Experience of teaching/research work is desirable

For Pharmaceutics post:

• First Class M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics with a basic degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Experience of teaching/research work is desirable

For Pharmaceutical Chemistry post:

• First Class M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a basic degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Experience of teaching/research work is desirable

Preference will be given to candidates having a Ph.D.

Salary

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 30,000 per month (for candidates having GPAT or Ph.D)
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview

• Registration Fee: Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred only) — to be paid by the candidate at the time of registration

Selection Process

The selection process is as follows:

1. Document Verification: Candidates must report one hour before the commencement of the selection committee for document verification and registration.
2. Walk-in Interview: Selection is purely interview-based and will be conducted by the selection committee in person.

There is no written exam.
