DDUH Junior Resident Recruitment 2026: Overview

Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital (DDUH), a Government of NCT of Delhi hospital in Hari Nagar, is recruiting Junior Residents through an ad hoc engagement. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: Your appointment starts for 89 days and may end earlier when a regular Junior Resident joins. The advertised engagement does not guarantee a full year of service.
• Extension: Service may continue up to a maximum of one year, subject to a satisfactory work and conduct report from the concerned head of department and your written request. Regular recruitment can bring the ad hoc arrangement to an end.
• Provisional positions: The hospital can change the advertised position availability without giving a separate notice.
• Reservation: The notice provides a 4% reservation for persons with disabilities under the applicable rules. If suitable applicants in a reserved category are unavailable, the hospital may make an ad hoc appointment from the general category, or vice versa, under the stated conditions.
• Category claims: A false category claim can lead to immediate termination and further action under the applicable law.
• No-objection certificates: After joining, you cannot receive an NOC for purposes such as a passport or visa before completing at least six months of service.
• Travel costs: The hospital will not pay travelling or daily allowances for attending the interview. You will need to arrange your own visit.
• Disputes: Any legal dispute falls within the jurisdiction of courts in Delhi or New Delhi.

Application Submission Notes

Your reporting venue is the Seminar Hall, Ground Floor, Doctor’s Hostel, DDUH, Hari Nagar, New Delhi-64. Forms will be accepted from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, and arrivals after the reporting window will not be considered.

Print the prescribed form on pages 3–5 of the notification before you travel, because the hospital will not supply forms at the venue. The interview timing depends on how many applications the hospital receives, and the following day is reserved for interviews that cannot be completed on the scheduled day.
