The Daman & Diu e-Governance Society (DDeGS) is hiring 3 contract staff — 2 AI Trainers at Rs. 49,250 per month and 1 Research (Lab) Assistant at Rs. 18,250 per month. Who Can Apply?

For AI Trainer (2 posts)

• Essential qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Statistics, Mathematics or related discipline
• Minimum 60% marks as per AICTE / UGC norms
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in AI / Machine Learning / Data Science training, teaching, or industry
• Desirable: M.Tech in above branches and cleared GATE / NET

For Research (Lab) Assistant (1 post)

• Essential qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc in AI, Data Science, CS, Statistics, Mathematics, IT or related
• Minimum 60% marks as per AICTE / UGC norms
• Experience: Preferably 1-2 years in AI/ML projects, research or data analytics. Internships and student-project work counts.

Age Limit

Salary

• AI Trainer: Rs. 49,250 per month (consolidated, all-inclusive)

• Satisfactory performers may be considered for PhD enrolment through partner universities

Selection Process

2. Computer Based Test or Walk-in Interview tentatively on 7 May 2026. The merit list is drawn from this test.

4. Personal Interview by the Selection Committee constituted by the Secretary / Director / Member Secretary, DDeGS. You must score minimum qualifying marks.
5. Final Merit List: Combined score from all stages decides the final post-wise and discipline-wise merit list

• Teach AI courses including Data Annotation, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning at the AI-CoE Data Lab
• Participate in AI-related IT projects and research activities funded by MeitY
• Support lab sessions and hands-on coding exercises for students
• Prepare training material, lesson plans, and project documentation
• Assist in setting up datasets and running ML experiments in the data lab
• Work with the Secretary IT / Director IT / Member Secretary, DDeGS as assigned
• Monitor student progress and report on lab projects to the UT Nodal Officer for IndiaAI Mission
