Who Can Apply?

Teaching and Activity Posts

• Educator: You need 10+2 with D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. from a recognised university. One year of teaching experience in a school or institution is desired.
• Art and Craft cum Music Teacher: You need 10+2 with Diploma/Degree in Art & Craft or Music. One year of school or institution experience is desired.
• PT Instructor cum Yoga Trainer: You need 10+2 with Diploma/Degree in Yoga, Sports, Athletics, or Physical Education. One year of experience in a school or institution is desired.

Support and Care Posts

• Cook: You must be 8th pass. One year of experience in a school or institution is required.
• Helper cum Night Watchman: You must be 8th pass. Work experience is not mandatory for this post.
• House Keeper (Sweeper): You must be 8th pass. Work experience is not mandatory for this post.
• Care Taker cum Vocational Instructor: You need Matriculation with a certificate course in a vocational trade such as tailoring, handicraft, mobile repairing, or basic computer/data entry skill. Minimum 1 year experience as a vocational trainer/instructor is required.

Other Conditions

• Gender: This notice is for women candidates only.
• Reservation: reservation benefits are for Bihar domicile candidates as per the notice.
• Posting: selected staff may be posted in any child care institution in the district.

Age Limit

• UR female: 18 to 40 years
• EBC female: 18 to 40 years
• SC female: 18 to 42 years, where SC vacancies are notified
• Age reference date: age will be counted as on 1 May 2026.
• For staff already working through an NGO in child care institutions, age relaxation may be considered for the same type of post as per the notice.

Salary

• Educator: Rs. 10,000 per month
• Art and Craft cum Music Teacher: Rs. 10,000 per month
• PT Instructor cum Yoga Trainer: Rs. 10,000 per month
• Cook: Rs. 9,930 per month
• Care Taker cum Vocational Instructor: Rs. 9,930 per month
• Helper cum Night Watchman: Rs. 7,944 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on qualification, experience rules, interview, and document verification. The notice separates the process for teaching/vocational posts and support posts:

1. Posts 1 to 3 and 7: preliminary merit list will be prepared for 60 marks. It includes 50% weightage for marks in the minimum technical qualification and up to 10 marks for higher technical degrees in the same subject.
2. Interview for Posts 1 to 3 and 7: shortlisted candidates will be called for interview of 40 marks. Final merit will be made out of 100 marks.
3. Posts 4 to 6: selection will be through interview only for 40 marks. Cook requires minimum work experience, but the notice says it will not be counted for merit marks.
4. Document Verification: original documents and experience certificates must be brought at the interview stage for checking.
