Responsibilities
- Work towards consumer awareness and public education on consumer rights within the district.
- Participate in surveillance and research activities related to consumer protection.
- Handle consumer grievance redressal through the council's framework.
- Carry out awareness campaigns related to consumer protection, training, advocacy, media outreach, and publicity.
- Maintain pricing transparency and monitor unfair trade practices.
- Provide feedback on public welfare programs related to consumer interests.
- Collaborate with organizations working on consumer-related issues for community welfare.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Experience in consumer protection and awareness activities; Organization registered under Registration Act 1860 or Mumbai Public Charitable Trust Act 1950
Preferred Qualification
At least 5 years of active work in consumer protection within Latur district
Required Skills
