The District Consumer Protection Council (DCPC), Latur is looking to appoint 28 Non-Official Members to strengthen consumer rights protection across the district. If you have been actively working in consumer awareness, education, or protection in the Latur district, this is your chance to contribute at the policy level.

• Consumer organizations get the largest share with 10 out of 28 seats, reflecting the council's focus on grassroots consumer advocacy.
• Appointment is on an ad-hoc basis through the District Level Selection Committee followed by mandatory police verification.
• Marathi language proficiency is required since the council operates within Maharashtra's Latur district.
• Organizations must have at least 5 years of work in the district and should be registered under the Registration Act, 1860 or the Mumbai Public Charitable Trust Act, 1950.
• No application fee is charged for this recruitment.

The selection process is straightforward. Your application will be reviewed by the District Level Selection Committee, which evaluates your organization's track record in consumer protection activities.
