CSMCRI Project Assistant II Recruitment 2026: Overview
CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI) is recruiting a Project Assistant-II at its Marine Algal Research Station in Mandapam, Tamil Nadu. The post belongs to the project on identifying potential locations for seaweed cultivation and valorisation, under HCP-0024 Phase-III, WP-2. You will join a project engagement that ends with the project.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project-linked appointment: This is a temporary engagement for the stated project. Joining does not give you a right to permanent absorption at CSIR-CSMCRI. Keep this condition in mind when considering the role.
- Combined service limit: Your total engagement as project staff across CSIR projects cannot exceed six years. This includes work at CSMCRI and other CSIR laboratories or institutes, rather than only time spent on this project.
- No automatic extension: The notice also rules out a claim to continued engagement. Previous project service does not create a right to an extension or an appointment in the institute.
- Travel expenses: No travel or daily allowance will be paid for attending the interview. You will need to arrange your visit to Mandapam with this condition in mind.
