Chittoor OSC Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
District Women and Child Welfare and Empowerment Office, Chittoor District is building the teams for the One Stop Centres at Kuppam and Chittoor under the Mission Shakti scheme. These centres bring legal guidance, counselling, case support and practical assistance together for women who need help. The engagement is contractual and linked to the scheme, so you should choose the role that matches your training and field experience.
The notice covers professional support and centre-operations roles in the same recruitment. Legal and counselling applicants will work directly with women seeking support, while case workers coordinate services and follow-up. The helper and security roles keep the centres functional, accessible and safe during day-to-day operations.
Posts and Disciplines
- Para Legal Personnel or Lawyer: legal-support work for women using the centre, suited to applicants with legal training or litigation experience.
- Psycho-Social Counsellor: health-linked counselling work for women who need psychological and social support.
- Case Worker: case coordination across law, social work, social sciences and psychology domains.
- Multi-Purpose Staff or Helper: practical centre support for daily operations at the Kuppam and Chittoor facilities.
- Security Guard or Night Guard: safety and watch duties, with prior security or uniformed-service experience preferred.
Post-wise Duties
Para Legal Personnel or Lawyer
You will explain legal options, help women understand the next course of action and coordinate with relevant services. Your work needs clear, sensitive legal guidance suited to a district-level support centre.
Psycho-Social Counsellor
You will provide first-line counselling, assess support needs and help women connect with appropriate health or protection services. The role calls for professional care and careful communication in difficult situations.
Case Worker
You will record cases, coordinate referrals and follow up with women and partner services. The centre depends on accurate case coordination so that support does not stop after the first visit.
Helper and Security Roles
You will support the centre's routine operation or keep its premises secure, depending on the post selected. Both roles contribute to a safe and dependable centre environment for visitors and staff.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract status: every position is purely contractual and coterminous with the Mission Shakti scheme.
- Women-only roles: the counsellor, case worker, helper and guard entries are marked for women in the notice.
- Separate applications: if you want to be considered for more than one post, use one application for each post.
- Call for assessment: only applicants who meet the role requirements will be contacted by the District Selection Committee.
- Recruitment control: the District Collector and committee chair may cancel the process without giving a reason.
