CBI BC Supervisor Recruitment 2026: Overview

Central Bank of India (CBI) is engaging Business Correspondent (BC) Supervisors for its Meerut regional office. This contractual assignment supports the bank's financial inclusion network and links local BC outlets with the branches that oversee them. Regular field visits are part of the arrangement, so you should be ready to work across the district assigned to you.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Local engagement: The bank looks first for people from the district where the work is assigned. It may consider adjoining districts when suitable local applicants are unavailable, but it will not select applicants from other states.
• Place of stay: You need accommodation near the nodal branch within your assigned district. The arrangement involves periodic village visits, rather than work based only at the regional office.
• Contract: The initial engagement lasts 12 months and is subject to a satisfactory annual performance review. Renewal depends on the bank's assessment of your work.
• Reporting: You report to the link branch manager and the regional officer responsible for financial inclusion. The regional head reviews performance each month, and the monthly scoring records feed into the annual renewal decision.
• BC allocation: The bank may increase or reduce the number of agents assigned to you as its needs change. The agents you supervise must not be family members, close relatives or business associates.
• Service standards: Poor results across the supervised network can trigger a review of continued engagement. The bank also checks conduct and customer feedback when assessing performance.
• Ending the contract: Either side can end the arrangement with 30 days' notice. Misconduct, fraud or misappropriation can lead to immediate termination without notice. The bank may also shorten the tenure under the terms of the agreement.
• Leave: The terms provide 30 paid leave days per calendar year, earned at 2.5 days for each completed month. Taking more than three days together needs at least seven days' advance notice.
• Exceptional leave: Loss-of-pay leave may be allowed for illness or other exceptional circumstances at the regional head's discretion, within the limits in the terms.
• Nature of engagement: The application declaration makes clear that this assignment does not give you a claim to employment in the bank. Incorrect information can lead to cancellation or termination even after engagement.
