Central Agricultural University Imphal Training Co-Ordinator Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Central Agricultural University Imphal, through its College of Agriculture at Pasighat, has notified 1 contractual Training Co-Ordinator post under a NABARD funded project on Agriculture 4.0 technologies. The project focuses on youth and women, sustainable farming, farmer welfare, 5G exposure, drone operations, IoT and 3D printing. This is a short project appointment up to 31 July 2026, with extension possible only if the project continues and funds are available.

The work location is College of Agriculture, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, not the CAU headquarters in Manipur. The selected person will support a project titled Empowering youth and women through Agriculture 4.0 technologies for sustainable farming and farmer welfare in Arunachal Pradesh. Because the appointment is linked to this project, the post is not a permanent university job; the notice clearly says the selected person cannot claim regular appointment or absorption after the project period.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Essential qualification: You need a Bachelor's degree such as B.E./B.Tech or a postgraduate degree in Agriculture or allied sciences from a recognised university.
• Preferred qualification: A postgraduate degree in the relevant stream will be useful for this role.

Skills and Experience

• Experience preferred: At least 2 years of work exposure in ISP, 4G or 5G ecosystem projects is desirable.
• Technology exposure: Basic knowledge of Drone, IoT and 3D Printing technologies is desirable.
• Computer skills: You should be comfortable with MS Office and basic computer work.
• Coordination: You should be ready to coordinate training programmes and student sessions.

Project Fit

• Training focus: The role is best suited for someone who can explain practical technology ideas to students and project participants in a simple way.
• Field technology exposure: Knowledge of 5G, drones, IoT, networks and 3D printing will help during demonstrations.
• Coordination ability: You should be ready to coordinate with faculty, students, trainees and project staff during the short project period.
• Record work: Basic computer and MS Office skills are useful because training attendance, reports and communication may need to be prepared regularly.

Age Limit

• Age limit: The notification says age will be as per Government of India norms.
• Age relaxation: Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST/women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates, as per rules.

Salary

• The selected Training Co-Ordinator will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 35,000 per month.
