The Bihar State Cooperative Bank Ltd. (BSCB) has released Advertisement No. 3802 dated 24 March 2026 for the selection of Project Implementing Team (PIT) members on contractual basis. BSCB has been authorised as a Nodal Agency by the Government of India for the role of Cluster Based Business Organisation (CBBO) to promote Farmer Producer Organisations under the Central Sector Scheme for Formation and Promotion of 10,000 FPO. The PIT will be stationed at BSCB Head Office (Patna and Saharsa) and District Central Co-Operative Bank Ltd. offices at Gopalganj, Betiah, and Bhagalpur.

Who Can Apply?

Social Mobilization Expert (State Head) - Rs. 55,000/month

• Qualification: Graduate in Rural Development or Social Work, OR Diploma in Rural Development/Social Work from a recognised university or institute
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in mobilisation of farmers, field demonstrations, organising village-level meetings, and related activities

Law/Accounts Expert - Rs. 45,000/month

• Qualification: B.Com with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR Chartered Accountant (CA) / Company Secretary (CS) with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience areas: Accounting, auditing, statutory compliance, legal matters, arbitration, and related work

Crop Husbandry Expert - Rs. 45,000/month

• Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture from a recognised university
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in crop production techniques, technology intervention, and working with FPOs or large farmer groups

Agri Marketing/Value Addition/Processing Specialist - Rs. 30,000/month

• Qualification: MBA in Agribusiness Management or equivalent from a recognised university or institute
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in agribusiness, agri marketing, value chain development, post-harvest management, and working with FPOs or large farmer groups

Age Limit

• You should be between 25 and 40 years old as on 01 March 2026.

Salary

• Social Mobilization Expert (State Head): Rs. 55,000 per month
• Law/Accounts Expert: Rs. 45,000 per month
• Crop Husbandry Expert: Rs. 45,000 per month
• Agri Marketing/Value Addition/Processing Specialist: Rs. 30,000 per month
• Salary is inclusive of all applicable taxes. No other benefits or compensations are provided by the bank.
• However, salary may be negotiated for exceptional candidates.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Based on qualifications and experience mentioned in the application
2. Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for GD and interview. Interview modalities will be published on biharscb.co.in.
3. Document Verification: Original documents and certificates must be produced before joining

There is no written exam for this recruitment. Selection is entirely through Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

• Organise village-level meetings, field demonstrations, and farmer awareness programmes
• Prepare project reports, progress reviews, and compliance documents for the CBBO scheme
• Work closely with DCCB staff and FPO boards to ensure smooth project implementation
