BRLPS MIS Consultant Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), popularly known as JEEViKA, is a Government of Bihar initiative focused on reducing rural poverty through community empowerment and sustainable livelihood programmes. The society is currently running several interventions under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) and SJY, and needs skilled IT professionals to support digitisation of data, ERP implementation, and mobile and web application development at SPMU, DPCU, and BPIU levels. Selection is through personal interview only — there is no written exam for these positions.

Category-wise Breakdown:

• Unreserved (UR): 3 posts (1 ERP + 2 Programmer)
• Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 2 posts (1 ERP + 1 Programmer)

Who Can Apply?

For MIS Consultant (ERP):

• Qualification: You need MCA, M.Sc. IT, or an equivalent degree in IT or Computer Science from a recognised university.
• Experience: At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in development and rollout of ERP systems.
• Preferred: Candidates with experience working on Odoo ERP will be given preference. You should know how to develop modules like HR, Accounting, Inventory, Procurement, and Point of Sale (PoS).

For MIS Consultant (Programmer):

• Qualification: You need BE, B.Tech, or MCA from a recognised university.
• Experience: At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in software rollout and capacity building or training.
• Technical Skills: You should have hands-on experience with DotNet Framework, Android Studio, SQL Server, and related technologies.

Note: Reservation is applicable only to Bihar domicile candidates. The permanent address in the application will be treated as domicile. Part-time, daily-wage, internship, or self-employment experience will not count towards the required experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for general candidates: 55 years
• Retired Government / PSU / Bank employees can apply up to 61 years
• The reference date for calculating experience is the last date of application, i.e., 05 April 2026.

Salary

• Both posts carry a consolidated honorarium of Rs. 55,000 per month (Rupees Fifty-Five Thousand only).
• This falls under the A5 category of the BRLPS Consultant Policy.
• The contract is for a maximum of 11 months in a year, extendable based on performance and work requirements.
• You will also get 1 day casual leave per month. Female consultants are eligible for up to 2 days special leave per month in addition.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Stage 1 - Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on minimum qualifications and relevant post-qualification experience as stated in the notification.
2. Stage 2 - Personal Interview (50 Marks): Shortlisted candidates will appear for a personal interview. The final result is based entirely on interview performance.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• UR candidates: 50% of full marks (25 out of 50)
• EBC candidates: 45% of full marks (22.5 out of 50)

4. Pay the application fee of Rs. 100 through online mode.

6. Keep 5 copies of your resume and at least 2 coloured passport-size photographs (identical to the one uploaded) ready for the document verification stage.

• Support design, development, and customisation of ERP applications for digitisation of operational, financial, and administrative data
• Coordinate with functional teams for requirement gathering, process mapping, rollout, and maintenance of ERP modules
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and user training for ERP and MIS systems
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics to support monitoring and decision-making at various levels
• Develop mobile and web-based applications to support organisational programmes and field operations
• Provide software solutions for integration of existing mobile and web applications with DSS-MIS
• Conduct field visits to DPCU and BPIU offices for handholding support and resolving technical issues
• Liaise with external agencies for software and app-based solutions to ensure smooth integration
