Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Godda, operating under the Agriculture Extension (Krishi Unnati Yojana) scheme in Jharkhand, has invited applications for 33 contractual positions of Block Technology Manager and Assistant Technology Manager. These roles are critical for agricultural extension work at the block level across Godda district. Selection is purely merit-based with no written exam — your academic qualifications, computer skills, and experience will earn you marks out of 100. Who Can Apply?

For Block Technology Manager (BTM):

• Qualification: Post Graduate (M.Sc.) in Agriculture or Allied Sector with computer skills, OR Agriculture Graduate with at least 5 years of working experience as ATM
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of field experience in agriculture-related activities
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is mandatory

For Assistant Technology Manager (ATM):

• Qualification: Graduate (B.Sc.) in Agriculture or Allied Sector
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in agriculture-related activities
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is mandatory

Accepted Allied Subjects:

As per the Ministry of Agriculture directive (F. N0-3-3/2017 dated 1 January 2018), the following subjects count as Agriculture/Allied Sector: Agriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture Engineering, Dairy Technology, Forestry, Veterinary & Animal Science, Food Technology, Bio Technology, Fisheries, Sericulture, Home/Community Science, and Food Nutrition & Dietetics.

Salary

• Block Technology Manager (BTM): Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
• Assistant Technology Manager (ATM): Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated)
• The appointment is contract-based and renewable yearly based on your Performance Appraisal Report

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is purely based on merit out of 100 marks. There is no written examination. Your marks will be calculated from your educational qualifications, computer skills, work experience, and special weightage.

Merit Marking for BTM (Out of 100):

1. B.Sc. Agriculture/Allied Sector: 30 marks
2. M.Sc. Agriculture/Allied Sector: 10 marks
3. PGDAEM: 10 marks
4. Computer Skills (Excel-05, PowerPoint-05, Word-10): 20 marks
5. Work Experience: 20 marks
6. Special Weightage (2+ years at ATMA/SAMETI): 10 marks

Merit Marking for ATM (Out of 100):

1. Intermediate: 10 marks
2. B.Sc. Agriculture/Allied Sector: 35 marks
3. M.Sc. Agriculture/Allied Sector: 15 marks
4. Computer Skills (Excel-10, PowerPoint-05, Word-15): 30 marks
5. Special Weightage (2+ years at ATMA/SAMETI): 10 marks

Cut-off Marks: Unreserved category needs at least 50 marks. Reserved category needs at least 40 marks.

Work Experience Marking: You need at least 2 years of experience in a related field. For government sector work, you get 4 marks per year. For semi-government/PSU sector, you get 4 marks for 2 years. For private sector, you get 4 marks for 3 years.

• Coordinate agricultural extension activities at the block level under the ATMA scheme
• Prepare block-level agricultural action plans and monitor their implementation

• Assist farmers in adopting modern agricultural technologies and practices
• Maintain records of agricultural activities and prepare periodic reports
• Work closely with district agriculture officers and Krishi Vigyan Kendras
• Manage data entry and documentation using MS Office tools
